AT last - the long awaited and very expensive bridge over the canal is open!
On Tuesday, I gleefully took my 20-month-old daughter for a walk over the bridge and along the towpath. However, this proved to be very a short lived 'walk'. Along the length of the towpath were numerous parcels left by some very irresponsible dog owners.
Surely, it is not asking too much for our young children to be able to explore the otherwise pleasant and safe surroundings without being exposed to such irresponsible and downright dirty dog owners?
Has the bridge been built for the use of us and our children or our pets?
