IN a an evenly matched first game Tavistock (pictured with banded shirts) struggled to establish any rhythm. The first half was closely fought with honours even at half time; the highlights being tries from Harrison Astley and Louie Cherrington, who unfortunately retired hurt with a dislocated shoulder.
Early in the second half, support play and poor tackling were Tavistock's weaknesses which Crediton capitalized on by scoring a further three tries before a spirited Tavistock fightback saw Reuben Noy Scott score followed by a sterling effort from Cyrus Larcombe-Moore in the dying moments.

IN a completely contrasting display and cheered on by enthusiastic parents, Tavistock's performance in the first half was outstanding from the outset.
They dominated all facets of play, never allowed Crediton any ball or room and ran in six tries from six different players (Ben Roberts, Harrison Astley, Jack Morris, Reuben Noy Scott, Nathan Sellars and Max Wright) reflecting the strength of the team play.
The second half was more evenly matched, with Credition just taking the honours by three tries to two (both from Ben Roberts).
