Tavistock firsts 1

Bodmin 6

TAVISTOCK started the match brightly and were unlucky to go behind, the home side brought one back through a well worked short corner converted by Cowen-d'Arcy.

Tavistock finished the first half with a realistic chance of getting back into the game at only 2-1 down.

Tavistock were shaken after influential centre back Wayne Rundle was rushed to hospital with a serious head injury.  The incident occured after the ball was lifted off a Bodmin stick during an effort at goal.

Forced changes to the Tavistock defence led to Bodmin scoring a further four goals and left the home team with no chance of getting back into the game.

Tavistock's Pete Robson was voted their man of the match as a result of his solid performance at left-back.
