I READ the letter from Mrs Williams (June 21) and disagree with what she said about Tavistock.

There is more in Tavistock than in Launceston and if I lived there I would not want to shop anywhere else.

Launceston is full of estate agents, hairdressers and charity shops. At least Tavistock has a decent pannier market and a better selection of shops. I come over to Tavistock quite often as I prefer it.
