WALKERS with a keen interest in Tavistock's history can join guided walks around Tavistock starting this month.

Archaeologist Andrew Thompson, involved in the World Heritage status for Tavistock, and former town policeman Simon Dell, will be leading regular Friday afternoon walks in Tavistock starting on May 10 through to October 25, from 2pm to 3.30pm.

Andrew's walks will look at the World Heritage status of Tavistock and Simon's walks will be themed walks looking at various aspects of Tavistock's history.

The walks will start at Court Gate Arch and cost £5 for adults and children under 16 free.
