OKEHAMPTON and District Local History Society is holding its annual meeting on Wednesday, April 13 at 7pm at the Conservative Club on Kempley Road.

The society is joining with the local branch of the Devonshire Association to give an exhibition of Okehampton archive material from the extensive collection of local historians Mike and Hilary Wreford.

Meetings of the history society are normally held on the second Wednesday of every month at 7.30pm in the Ockment Hall at the Ockment Community Centre on North Street.

All new members are welcome.
