TORQUAY fielded a strong side that are unbeaten in the league. In the first half Tavistock conceded three tries, with superb efforts from the Torquay offence.
Tavistock rallied and immediately put pressure back on Torquay's defence. Unfortunately just before half time, Torquay's full back suffered a knee injury taking him to hospital.
After this event, the second half began where the game was still in good flow. Tavistock showed many signs of getting back into the game by near efforts from Jack Bond, George Rodgers and Mark Friend who were playing pivital roles in the attack.
This eventually led to Mark Friend making a superb run from his own half to go over Torquay's try line.
Although disappointed with the loss, the effort and determination showed by the Tavistock Colts was exceptional.
