AFTER an unfortunate start to the season in Tavistock's first game against Truro where numbers were lacking, Tavistock were, very much, looking to redeem themselves.

With a strong team available Tavistock looked dangerous from the start. The game was very much end to end with Tavistock gaining lots of short corners but not converting their chances due to some exceptional goalkeeping.

It was not until the second half when eventually one of these short corners converted with a clean swipe by Josh Reynolds put them in the lead. With a stirling defensive line consisting of Martin Glanville, Luke Curno, Nick Bradley and Greg Curno, Tavistock managed to keep the young students of Plymouth at bay.

The last five minutes really tested Tavistock's defensive lines with short corner after short corner being conceded. However Tavistock's defence prevailed for a superb result by the town B side.
