Camborne School of Mines A 4

Tavistock men A 3

THE game started brightly with Tavistock playing a good passing game, but against the run of play the Miners broke through and slotted an opening goal. Tavistock did not panic and continued to play with confidence and levelled via a good short corner routine, culminating in a hard strike to the back board by Anning.

Tavistock continued to boss the game but were caught napping and CSOM were back on top. Digging deep Tavistock found the net again with a well worked goal following a good run by Elliott.

The visitors went two goals behind in quick succession, but were aware that they were still very much in the game. Bellard was mopping up play at the back and Aveyard was shining in the mid field like a beacon. Tavistock ground out another goal through the energetic Kelly following numerous short corners, but time was against Tavi to take any points out of the match.

n This week Tavistock A are at home to Bude A at 4.30pm.
