Tavistock v Torquay
FOLLOWING Tavistock's wonderful display against league leaders Exmouth last week, it was back to normal this week against a Torquay side including Imran Pasha —probably the quickest bowler in the South West at this time.
Tavistock lost the toss and batted first with Gray and Gauler putting on nearly 50 for the first wicket, things then fell apart with Manning 14 and Daymond 17. Imran finished with 7-31 off 12 overs. Tavistock were all out for 112.
Torquay batted after tea with seniors Gauler, aged 46, and Munday aged 66, respectively opening the bowling and restricting Torquay's opening pair mark Thompson Devon's opener and Jon Yau to 24 off 10 overs.
Cleave and Daymond came into the attack and the runs started to flow with Torquay winning easily by eight wickets.
