LOCAL Olympic torch bearer Andy Vallence came to Lew Trenchard Primary School recently, to show the children the Olympic torch and explain the significance of the Olympic Games.

The children were inspired by Andy's own achievements in running marathons and cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats. as well as the whole Olympic ethos.
