SOME 30 finalists (pictured above) reached the Mount House annual spoken English competition held recently.

The competition was adjudicated by Sarah Scheele who was very impressed with the high standard of all the entrants and found it a hard job to select the winners.

Sarah gave helpful and complimentary remarks to everyone, but finally awarded the cups to Linus Pomroy (form one and two), Nicky Crighton (form three), Juliette West (form four), Ollie Piper (boys form five and six) and Sophia Donne (girls form five and six).
