St Cleer 0 Mary Tavy 7 BEN Stephens gave the performance of the day as he scored six goals out of Tavy?s seven. Tavy went in front within ten minutes as Stephens coolly slotted home from 10 yards. His second was a neat volley from a Trebilcock corner and he completed his hat-trick with a far post header. Stephens? fourth was a terrific goal as he beat his man then went round the keeper to place the ball home. Stephens finished the half with his fifth. The second half had only just begun when he got his sixth. Aaron Gaden got his first Tavy goal with a well placed header. The game ended with a laughable off-the-ball incident which gave St Cleer a penalty. Justice was done when Rawlings made a superb save. Tavy now have two weeks off and their current revival makes the league table easier on the eye for players and followers.
