BOTH hockey teams opened with only ten players and after just three minutes Tavistock were 1-0 up.
Paignton were awarded a short corner and Tavistock battled well to keep the ball out but the home side scored a scrappy goal with the keeper Zoë Viggers on the floor trying to defend.
Paignton were quick to return after their first goal and battled hard with Tavistock?s defence of Amy Petts, Nell Trotter and Sarah Guy but they had a slip through, leaving the keeper with no chance.
After the break, Tavistock were determined to turn it around. There was some great passing and possession of the ball by Sarah Court, Robynne Honey and Sarah Barrett on the right side of the pitch.
A short corner was won and controlled passing allowed Tavistock to even the score to 2-2.
After some good interceptions Tavistock scored another to go ahead. Then another two goals were scored with some lovely crosses in to the goal by Honey and Court for Gaynor Pollard and Judy Miller to finish them off.
Tavistock were on a roll and scored another.
