The Fellowship is the Lions Club International Foundation?s highest form of recognition to acknowledge an individual?s dedication to humanitarian service. John had the idea for the first Okehampton Lions annual Golf Day for Children?s Hospice SW and continued to organise the event until three yesars ago. Now in its 11th year the event has to date raised in excess of £56,000. John joined the Lions Club shortly after its formation in 1974 and continues to serve today.
