MORE than 80 spectators visited Lakeside, Roadford Lake on August 4 to watch Transitions Theatre Company's fantastic performance of 'The Adventures of Mr Toad', a fun-filled adaption of Kenneth Grahame's 'The Wind in the Willows'.
Even though the rain made an appearance and the performance had to take place inside, people of all ages joined Mr Toad as he embarked on a number of exciting, yet daring, adventures. With the help of his riverside chums Rat, Badger and Mole and a host of other colourful characters, plenty of jolly japes and silly scrapes took place during the performance which was enjoyed by all.
Due to poor weather the performance was held in the Lakeside function suite.
