Tavistock and North Tawton (TNT) Ladies 0
TAVISTOCK and North Tawton travelled to Liskeard for the first game of their season and the 17-0 scoreline left them defeated but not downhearted.
There were some excellent passages of play, especially in defence. With three players making their debuts and
several others having only played two or three times the experience in the Liskeard line-up proved decisive.
Liskeard set up all three tries by spreading the ball wide to their wings who ran in to score three times with only one try being converted.
Excellent tackling from Zoe Colton and Emily Johns stopped Liskeard from scoring more points and good kicking from Tara McGlade and Helen King kept them away from the TNT try-line.
