HOLY Trinity Church in Bere Alston held its summer fair on Saturday in the parish hall.

The event was an outstanding success, just pipping last year?s total and raising a magnificent £745 for church funds.

Members of the church joined with those from St Andrew?s in Bere Ferrers for a social event hosted by the parish rector, the Rev Nick Law, and his wife at the rectory. Six teams took part in an evening of boules.
