TAVISTOCK Cricket Club hosts on Sunday the now annual Tavistock Times Cup at 2.30pm. The cup was originally donated by the paper 20 years ago to commemorate Jack Davey?s contribution to cricket in the Tavistock area, Jack having joined Gloucestershire CCC in 1966 played through the glory days alongside Procter, Sadiq and Zaheer until his retirement in 1979. The game will be between the host club and a West Devon XI. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the beautiful setting of ?The Ring? and its fantastic views across Devon and Cornwall.
