A BIG thank you to everyone who supported the Devon Air Ambulance Trust Coffee Break at the Pimple on August 27.

Also, a big thank you to helpers and the many people who were unable to attend but sent donations.

We raised £204. Dog biscuits were generously given by Alpha Pets of Tavistock and greatly appreciated.

FROM the Tavistock Physically Challenged Group, a huge thank you to everyone who contributed to our street collection on Saturday August 9.

Despite record-breaking temperatures we realised a grand total of £446.93.

We need to raise the bulk of our expenses ourselves, so our treasurer was very pleased.

Also, we had a stall at the Grand Charity bazaar on Saturday August 30. Once again many thanks.

THE Tavistock and District Gardening Club would like to thank the Tavistock traders through your paper, for their generosity in donating many raffle prizes for the flower and produce show held on August 9.

This raised much needed funds to help towards the cost of organising the show. We are indeed fortunate to have such good support from local traders for the various activities in the town, so once again many thanks.
