IT'S time to start planning an escape route and run from the law as preparations for the annual Dartmoor Jailbreak get underway.

Entrants from across the country will descend upon Princetown on April 16 to take part in the 'jailbreak' from Dartmoor Prison.

The teams will raise money for Vranch House School and Centre for children with cerebral palsy and other charities of choice.

'Jailbreakers' are encouraged to dress in prison costumes or other disguises and will be released from near Dartmoor Prison, with between 12 and 168 hours to escape to as far away as possible.

The only rules are that teams must not pay for transport but must keep within the law.
