RESIDENTS will next week have the chance to influence the shape and activities of the Tavistock and Villages Market Town Partnership.

Over the past few months, the existing group has spent time reviewing its role and activities.

As a result, it is planning to become a more independent body. It wishes to pursue a few deliverable projects that will make a difference in Tavistock and its surrounding villages.

It is looking for more involvement from those living in the surrounding villages.

 Over the past three years, it has supported more than 25 projects ranging from the food, music and arts festivals, youth activities, garden projects, village hall improvements to the Christmas lights.
