WEST Devon residents are being asked to take part in a survey on their day-to-day travel arrangements and what improvements they think could be made to public transport in the borough.
The results of the questionnaire, the idea of West Devon Borough Council's Local Strategic Partnership (LSP), will help develop ways of making West Devon a better place to get around, as well as providing input to other plans and initiatives. The answers will also help feed in to an overall transport improvement plan being drawn up by Devon County Council.
The Partnership is holding the poll following the Government's recent Place Survey which revealed that West Devon residents said they were not satisfied with public transport services and information.
Residents can complete the survey at West Devon Borough Council's Tavistock offices at Kilworthy Park, or via a West Devon Connect Surgery.
Cllr James McInnes, chairman of the LSP and leader of the council, said: 'This an important survey where residents can give the details of their personal travel experience, which will help inform improvements for the future.'
