Time for town council to change its motto?

aYOU may, perhaps, have noticed the small Latin motto which appears under the coat of arms on most Tavistock Town Council correspondence.

As high rents force yet another business from Duke Street and my confusion grows over exactly how our money has been mis-spent, I suggest it is time to change that motto. Might I offer the following: 'Primum est non culpam accipere' — roughly translated as: 'Whatever happens, it's never our fault!'
