TAVISTOCK Rotary Club still have free tickets available for the senior citizens? annual dinner at the beginning of next month.
The date of the dinner is Wednesday June 2 not Sunday June 6 as stated in last week?s paper.
The evening at Tavistock College offers pensioners an opportunity to meet and enjoy each others? company in a convivial atmosphere with a meal served by Tavistock Rotarians.
Downes Coaches are providing transport from Bedford Square leaving at 6pm to arrive at the college in good time for dinner and Age Concern is offering homeward transport. There will also be plenty of space to park in the college grounds for guests wishing to make their own way to the event.
Anyone who is concerned about transport arrangements can mention this when picking up tickets or call Tony Whitehead on 01822 613665 and every effort will be made to organise conveyance.
All senior citizens living in the locality are welcome and complementary tickets are available tomorrow (Friday) between 10.30am and 12pm from the parish church hall next to the Bedford Hotel.
