THE new style '[email protected]' service at St Paul's Church Hall, Yelverton was enthusiastically welcomed this month, with young and old alike enjoying their bacon butties, tea and coffee at the start of the service in which everyone was reminded of the story of the lost sheep.

The Rev Preb Nick Shutt, rector of West Dartmoor benefice, said the church was 'very grateful 'to the Diocese of Exeter for the grant of £500 to help with the set up costs, enabling resources to be bought for the new services.

'It looks like bacon butties will be on the menu for the next few months to come,' said Mr Shutt.

The next [email protected] service is due to take place on July 15 at 9.30 in St Paul's Church Hall, Yelverton.
