THRILLER writer Richard V Frankland, author of the Ian Vaughan Thriller Series, will be visiting Tavistock Library at 2pm on Saturday, July 18 to talk about his books.

He is the author of the The Ian Vaughan Thrillers — 'A Cast of Hawks', 'Batsu' and the latest in the series, 'Shadows in Sunshine'.

Mr Frankland had a career in international engineering project development, working for several years in Africa and the Middle East.

It was an incident at London's Heathrow Airport that set him on the road to becoming a full-time thriller writer.

His publishers Pegasus said: 'The talk is both entertaining and informative and is aimed at readers and potential writers alike.'
