Tavistock U8s 55 Okehampton U8s 40 Tavistock?s Ben Hosking scored the first of his two tries with an excellent break. Okehampton showed great handling skills and direct running which brought them deserved tries before the break. George Carter made an immediate impact with a strong run half the length of the pitch to score the first of his two tries and the first period ended with a well taken try by Daniel Dobie. Player of the match Marcus Hoddinott was razor sharp after the restart bagging three tries. Adam Billington made an incisive break and linked well with try scorer Adam Williams to extend Tavistock?s lead. Kris Chapman, Ben Steel and Tom Jackman buzzed around the Okehamton attackers making tackle after tackle before Dominic Hosking showed his pace scampering away on two occasions to score.
