OKEHAMPTON started by far the better in very heavy conditions, Arnie Searle slotting two penalties to lead 6-0 after 20 minutes.
Unfortunately, and against the run of play, Crediton were given a soft try and once in front Crediton played with renewed belief.
Okehampton managed one more penalty but could not find a way through the Crediton defence.
The visitors scored three more, to be followed by a reversed penalty on the line for an easy three points, to run out clear winners.
It looks like Crediton's year, with promotion likely if they can continue to put up such performances.
This week Okehampton are away to Plymouth Albion in the Devon Cup, 2.30pm Sunday.
