WEST Devon Volunteer Centre in Tavistock has a wide range of opportunities for volunteers in the area this month.

Spring House Residential Care Home at Peter Tavy is looking for people who would be willing to give up some time to chat and reminisce with some of the residents at the home.

For anyone who loves horses, Riding for Disabled in Tavistock is looking for volunteers to work with disabled children.

 Tavistock Division of Girl Guides is looking for volunteers to help girls and young women explore life within Girlguiding UK.

There are also many events that take place in the Tavistock area throughout the year which require marshals — the Volunteer Centre is hoping to compile a list of people who would like to be a marshal at large local events.
