EIGHT ladies watches, valued at nearly £2,500, were stolen from John Baldwins Goldsmiths in Tavistock on Saturday afternoon.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crime which occurred between 2.30pm and 3.50pm. They believe two Asian males were in the shop at the time and that it was a distraction theft.

The Pandora watches were all different designs and stolen from one display cabinet.
