THERE seems to be quite a big misconception at the present time that Britain would not continue to prosper outside the European Union. This is absolute nonsense.
We are now the fourth largest economy in the world and would easily continue to prosper outside the EU. The other European Union countries will not start a trade war as they sell more into our markets that they buy from us.
At the moment, people in the UK contribute £10-billion a year to the EU but only £5-billion is spent in the UK on things the EU approves of.
