THE fourth meeting for ex members of the Devonshire and Dorset Regiment who live in the Okehampton area will take place next Thursday, March 23. Six former Devon and Dorsets attended the last meeting, several more sent apologies and so it is hoped to increase numbers each month. There may be some ex-Devon and Dorsets living in Okehampton and the surrounding area who are not aware of the group, and they would be most welcome to attend and share reminiscences of military days with others. The group meets on the fourth Thursday in the month at the Royal British Legion Hall in Station Road, Okehampton at 7.30pm. The April meeting will take place on Thursday, April 27.
