HORRABRIDGE Primary School had a helping hand in tidying up the school grounds recently from the Horrabridge Cavaliers.

The Cavaliers got to work weeding, chopping and clearing the school grounds.

Headteacher John Clarke said: 'The Cavaliers do so much for so many in and around Horrabridge, not least for the primary school. Over a dozen of them gave up, voluntarily, the majority of the day to tidy up the extensive school grounds, lopping branches, digging up unwanted plants and brambles and clearing weeds.

'Their efforts have made a huge difference to all areas within the grounds and on behalf of the children, staff and governors we would like to express our thanks to the Cavalier's chairman, Rob Hitchcock, and his team for their amazing help.'
