FREE activities for children and young people in West Devon are on offer over half term.

Since summer 2008, the borough council has been using its £200,000 grant from the Big Lottery Fund to provide free activities for hundreds of children across West Devon. Almost 2,500 have enjoyed a wide range of activities so far.

This half term there are free fun-filled activities on offer in the Okehampton and Princetown areas.

The Princetown Opportunity for Play (POP) project, has three activities taking place in the Princetown Pavilion.

Monday October 25: Disco for 8-14 years, 4.30pm till 6.30pm,

Tuesday October 26: Making Music for 13+ years, 2pm till 4pm,

Wednesday October 27: Halloween Mask Making for 8-14 years, 2pm till 4pm.

Okehampton Community Recreation Association is running two OCRA Action Outreach Sport and Art sessions on Monday October 25, in Hatherleigh Primary school (10am-noon) and Highampton (1.30pm-3.30pm) for 6 to 14 year olds.
