THE Devon German Shepherd Dog Rescue held a Companion Dog Show at Spreyton Village Hall Playing Field on Sunday April 1 and raised £434.

Brenda Randle judged the pedigree and novelty classes, which resulted: AV puppy (6-12 months), Carrie (Roy Wilson); AV sporting and reserve best in show, Ferdy (Jean Bayliss); AV non-sporting, Cookie (Carol Snell); AV open and best in show, Mealla (Gill Ford).

Winners of the ten novelty classes: Crossbreed, Jake (Tamia Campbell); veteran: Megan (Pat Davey); rescue/rehomed, Jess (Barbara Sparks); highest placed GSD in rescue/rehomed, Sasha (Sheila Knox); long coat and reserve best in show, Maisie (Katy Whitbread); short coat, Diamond (Jean Bayliss); appealing eyes and best in show, Bunny (Rebecca Wheeler); handsome male, Kez (Linda Blake/Linda Elston); prettiest female, Amber (Anne Rayner); best movement, Monty (Tamia Campbell); dog judge would like to take home, Jessabelle (Alana Heywood).

Tony Davey judged the Obedience classes: Class A and class B, Tim (Dave Johnson).
