THIRTY-five children from the fifth and sixth forms at Mount House School experienced French culture and language on the annual trip to Normandy.

Their itinerary started with a visit to the market in Avranches, where they bought the ingredients for a lunch they also prepared for themselves.

In between the most popular sessions of the week – sand yachting on the beach at the Baie de Mont St Michel and 'Accrobranches' high ropes forest activities, they found time for a conducted walk across the Baie, souvenir shopping and a visit to a goat farm.

A day in St Malo rounded off a great trip.
