In the New Year I shall be purchasing a desk for my office at home. Such a fine gift will be a fitting reminder of the valued team that have worked with me to enhance the education of the young people of the town.
I am particularly appreciative of the many parents, pupils (past and present), colleagues, governors, officers and town councillors who have written such complementary and generous comments in my book of memories that was
compiled on my behalf.
It has been a privilege to serve as headteacher and a responsibility that I have never taken lightly. Tavistock County Primary School is a good school with the staff, teaching and non teaching, that are extremely hard working and dedicated.
The school is served by a community that is supportive and caring. The children are a joy to work with and a pleasure to observe maturing into effective and independent adults. I wish you all well.
