STAFF relocations will mean a change of faces at Tavistock and Okehampton police stations shortly.

PC Dave Grimbly is taking up a temporary post at Okehampton as a patrol sergeant on October 2, after a four year stint as Tavistock's community constable.

PC Grimbly said: 'I have really enjoyed what I do here — the one drawback of going is leaving Tavistock, but I'll be leaving it in safe hands.'

PC Grimbly usually publishes the Neighbourhood Watch newsletter — there will be no newsletter until further notice.

For the next four months PC Grimbly's job will be taken by PC Larry Base who is presently based at Okehampton.

Also leaving Tavistock Police Station for Okehampton is PC Mark Hoar, the community constable for Princetown.

PC Hoar's job will be taken by PC Stewart Pearce — and the new community constable for Buckland Monachorum, Yelverton and Horrabridge will be PC Angie Frost.
