THE restoration of Okehampton's Simmons Park — what wonderful news. Through all the recent doom and gloom a ray of sunshine for all of us who care about Simmons Park.
For those of us who remember it as it was in the 1920s, let us hope we are till around when it is fully restored.
Just one small request. Most of us still have rounded bottoms and all the original seats were designed to fit them, unlike most of the seats we find in the park today. Maybe some thought could be given to this.
