THE Dartmoor Decorative and Fine Arts Society has announced its talks for the next two months.

On Wednesday, April 10, historian Felicity Herring will explore 'The loves and battles of Admiral Lord Nelson', while on Wednesday, May 8 ceramics expert Diana Lloyd will be talking about Bernard Leach and his influence on 20th century studio ceramics.

All DDFAS talks are held in Okehampton's Charter Hall. Doors open for tea and coffee at 10am with talks starting at 10.30am prompt.

All are welcome. A year's membership of the society costs £45, or £85 for a couple, to include nine lectures on a variety of arts and historical subjects. A free quarterly arts magazine is included.

For non-members, a donation of £10 per talk is requested, which will be refunded if you join the society.
