WE would like, through your paper, to take the opportunity of thanking the kind ladies of the Belstone Ladies Club for holding a ploughman?s lunch on our behalf in their village hall on April 9. and raising the grand sum of £600 for our Ring and Ride/Community Car Services. We understand they hold these events three or four times a year raising funds for various organisations and would congratulate them on their efforts. We would like to say a big thank you to all those who attended and in doing so have therefore helped raise these much needed funds. We would also like to take the opportunity to give advance notice that we are holding a tea dance in the church hall, Okehampton, on Saturday July 2 between 3pm and 5.30pm.
