THE Sew Wot quilters from the Yelverton area would like to thank everyone who so generously supported their recent coffee morning.

The magnificent sum of over £1,600 was raised at Willowby Park on November 22. It was the group's second open day when quilts, patchworks, Christmas crafts, coffee and cakes were enjoyed by all who attended.

The group members Sue, Drinda, Mary, Pat, Sara, Norma, Chris, Hillary and Geraldine were quite overwhelmed and delighted with the result and the money raised will be sent to Plymouth and Cornwall Cancer Fund.
