I WOULD like to thank the people of Tavistock and Yelverton for their great generosity shown during our street collections for the Great Daffodil Appeal for Marie Curie Cancer Care. 

We raised a total of £2,226.02 from collections held in Tavistock and Yelverton.  This amazing total was added to by the ever-supportive Lions Club of Tavistock, who donated £313.93 from the proceeds of the raffle held at their Charter night dinner.  I would like to thank all our collectors for their continuing support, we would be lost without them!

Marie Curie Cancer Care gives people with all terminal illnesses the choice to die at home.  Our nurses provide them and their families with free hands-on care and emotional support, in their own homes, right until the end.
