ON behalf of all those involved with the Tavistock branch of the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign I would like to say a big thank you to the people of the Tavistock area for their generosity and support during our collection week June 19-26 flag day in the town on June 26, and Bere Alston Coffee Morning on June 22. An amazing £1,807.61 was raised.
A special 'Thank you' also to all those who gave their time to collect for us and to the farmers market traders and Somerfield for their assistance.
The support, research and family care provided by the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign is making a great difference to many, many young lives. Thank you.

I WOULD like to thank everyone who sent cards and flowers for my 100th birthday.
Thank you also to Rev Stanton, friends of Lamerton Church, who arranged flowers and helped in the service of celebration, which raised £564 towards the church tower fund.
Thanks also to the Lamerton Bellringers, the Lamerton Handbell ringers, Clare Horn and Kilworthy Catering, the Tavistock deputy mayor and staff at Harewood House for the party and entertainment at the day centre. also, TavicabXL taxi for providing the transport.
Finally, thank you to everyone who came and took part and made my birthday celebrations so memorable.
