I WOULD like to send my grateful thanks to the ladies of Curves, Tavistock, also friends and neighbours, for the support and donations they have given me as I did the London Moonwalk on Saturday, May 12.

They have helped me raise £550 for the Walk the Walk charity, which supports Breast Cancer research, respite care and provides scalp coolers for patients undergoing certain treatments to help reduce hair loss.

They encouraged me to wear a very silly outfit, which caused lots of comments during the 26.2-mile route! Seventeen thousand walkers took part in the event.
