THE sum of £740.80 has been raised for the Boscastle Flood Appeal by shop keepers and residents of Tavistock.
Margaret Grylls thanked everyone who had donated raffle prizes for the appeal, who were too numerous to mention. She also thanked the establishments that had made collections, namely West Devon Homes Tenant Panel, Bradford and Bingley and Jack and Jill?s Chip Shop.
Margaret also thanked all her family for their help, with special thanks to Andy Coad for allowing the use of his function room at the Ordulph Arms.
