MAY I, through your columns, thank all the people of the

Tavistock area who helped to make Tavistock Carnival

Week such a success, to all our advertisers and sponsors,

the suppliers of transport for floats and all who took part

in the various events our heartfelt thanks.

I would also like to acknowledge the support given by

Tavistock Town Council, the mayors of Tavistock and West

Devon and the TImes for their wonderful coverage of the

procession.

Finally, I would like to publicly thank my fellow members

of the Lions Club who worked so hard organising such a

successful carnival week.
