YOUR readers will be sad to learn, as I was, that Andy Lyle is leaving his job at Tavistock Area Support Services and moving to Wadebridge in Cornwall to set up a similar organisation down there.

Tavistock owes him a great deal. The fact that TASS is such a success is mainly due to his personality and his abilty to make everyone welome and needed.

He leads a great team of voluteers in town who are always doing their best for all the citizens.

TASS has earned the repect of all Tavistock people and the envy from other towns who would like to do the same.

So lets give Andy the highest award this town can give, a great send off, and our sincere and grateful thanks for what he has done for many years.
