AS chairman of the Son-Rise Cup Committee I wish to thank everyone that helped make the 2012 event the best so far!

The Tidy Tavy club, the Tavistock Lions, BIFFA and all the local businesses all helped in their way and the future of this event can only go up.

The wonderful feedback from so many people has made all the hard work worthwhile and so 2013 is in our sights to make this football festival the biggest in the UK.

THE Tavistock Red Cross Centre Group would like to thank everyone who gave during our recent flag week collection in the area.  

The total collected by members and friends came to £2,271.44. 

Many thanks to all those who helped and Morrisons, who kindly once again allowed collectors on their premises.
